It’s textural, sometimes floral, and usually a tad bit whimsical it’s – Wallpaper!
(And yes, you need some right now.)
Wallpaper is no longer a dirty word. We’re not talking about your grandma’s rooster wallpaper boarder that was triple glued to her kitchen walls (Sorry grams, I still have a touch of PTSD from removing that treachery). I’m talking about luxurious, deliciously patterned, peel and stick wallpaper that even I can install without too much help. We’re in a wallpaper renaissance – so go get you some! 🙂
We’ve had a couple clients come to us through our Mini-Design Consult asking for tips on how to make their spaces feel, well… less blah. Scroll down for some of my favorite inspirational wallpaper applications that add instant luxe and personality to unexpected (and often overlooked) spaces.
- Wallpaper on the ceiling… yes I said it! It’s definitely unexpected and instantly highlights architectural details within the ceiling- especially if you have a tray ceiling or lovely crownmolding.

2. Entry space and entry corridor wallpaper- Why not add characJter and intrigue to an area often under-valued and overlooked? Every inch of your space has the potential to reflect your taste, style and personality.

3. Powder room- Add instant appeal to a sink wall… bonus points pairing it with a tile at wainscot height.

Oh one more thing to add… we recently discovered Rebel Walls and we are obsessed. Here are just a few of their amazing prints and murals. Get ready to swoon.
Happy Wallpapering!
